Rockwool manufactures various insulating materials from volcanic diabase rock
spun into wool; these materials are used in buildings and flat-roof construction.
In the high season, up to 1,000 trucks a day leave eight plants across Europe, mostly
heading directly to construction sites.
The group employs around 11,000 people and is represented in over 39 countries.
Rockwool is rolling out Sixfold across the whole continent to have real-time visibility
over the hundreds of thousands of truckloads of insulation materials they deliver to
construction sites around Europe each year.
