As a product marketing manager, you will act as an interface between product management and the customer-facing teams. In this position, you will leverage buyers, market intelligence and creativity to help generate leads, equip the sales team with outstanding materials through effective product positioning, messaging and content creation.
The key responsibility is to understand the buyers’ industry and problems and Sixfold’s product positioning in order to create effective messaging and content to drive product adoption, increased market share and customer retention.
Support product managers in identifying market requirements and business opportunities.
Establish and lead the communication flow from product management teams to all customer-facing teams and the whole customer base.
Keep track of market trends, challenges, new requirements and solutions.
Establish a direct link to our customers to validate your assumptions, challenge your messaging and identify the main success factors of our target group.
Use market and customer data to define target segments.
Monitor and analyse user behavior, adoption and success to gain value proof points, refine positioning and identify up- and cross-selling potential.
Identify competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and monitor their messaging in order to develop a convincing positioning for our solutions.
Elaborate the messaging and a compelling value proposition that resonates within our target markets.
Provide engaging topics and best-suited formats to create conversion-oriented content for each step in the sales journey.
Consolidate the results of your work into a Go To Market strategy and provide knowledge and content for campaign plans and sales enablement
BA or higher in marketing, public relations, or technology.
3-5 years of marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research) preferably in B2B software or logistics related industry.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to proof and advocate own positions through convincing presentations and extract thoughts and ideas from other people through interview techniques.
Demonstrated success in writing, product launch planning, positioning and translating technical concepts into business-level information.
Understanding of marketing automation, content matrices and campaign plans.
