All those millions of truckloads of heavy freight are carried around Europe every day. It’s inefficient, costly and polluting.
Many of the technical problems we’re solving are scientific by nature and massive in volume.
Sixfold is helping to optimize the way business is done at the industry-leading companies like Rockwool or Saint-Gobain.
We use modern frameworks and approach when building our products. Think Microservices, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Kafka, React, GIS, and TypeScript.
And we’re international. Think Austria, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Ukraine.
Maksim is our senior data scientist, who extracts knowledge from our massive streams of supply chain data. As a result of the research done by him and his colleagues, we are constantly improving our models for estimating cargo arrival times and are providing better real-time transport information to our clients. Before joining Sixfold he obtained his PhD in physics and worked as the data manager at the University of Tartu.
Sixfold's in-house French connection and full-stack engineer who's been with us even longer than we've existed. Ben was the first developer we hired at Palleter, the logistics marketplace startup that was later reborn as Sixfold.
Now he's building out the customer facing side of our products in a small team of quick and talented UI engineers. Native of Lyon, Ben moved to Estonia 5 years ago. He studied engineering, built his own first startup here and worked at Pipedrive, one of the most successful Estonian startups to date.
We are a “family by choice”. Not just at the office, but also at quarterly offsites and recurring meetups with remote team members.
